Miss Saturation

Free Improvisation Group

Miss Saturation is a free music improvisation and automatic writing project. It combines spoken word formed in real time, accompanied by viola and keyboards and live electronics. Miss Saturation enacts modes of storytelling similar to the rhapsody genre, where the poet under the guidance of a muse, was transcrib - ing music onto words. Miss Saturation is that muse. Every story told is a performative ritual responding to the space and situation in which it takes place. Instead of notes and lyrics we rehearse synergic moods and serendipitous energies. Exercising situations and emotional variables, where live text and sonorous energies, manifest themselves as one, on stage, each time anew.
